Buy a 14-15 foot all welded Jon boat with a 0.100" aluminum hull that is 48" wide at the bottom and taller 20" transom.
Get a galvanized trailer with largest wheels possible.
I would put the newly designed Yamaha 25 hp 4 stroke 20" shaft tiller outboard.
Put a 50# thrust 12 volt Minn Kota bow mount autopilot {white Salt Water model) with two deep cycle batteries.
Have some 8 foot oars too, for drifting rivers.
Get a large screen fishfinder/GPS
