California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yuba River Management Team are conducting a survey to count steelhead redds (spawning beds) on the Lower Yuba River. They need volunteers! This survey is imperative for future management decisions for steelhead that are going to take place on the Yuba River. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Duane Massa: SMassa@psmfc.org. As a volunteer you will be trained by agency biologists to properly identify steelhead redds and called out on specific dates to conduct the survey.
