Carl,.... The biggest hint is the first sentence, "Internet Marketing Companies."

Second, other than for drinking, can you explain why Vodka was invented :?: :?:

Third, why post the alternate benefits of Vodka unless you intend to entice someone to buy the product. :?: :?:

The post is a very good, veiled add for sale of Vodka.... 8) 8)

Sorry you don't see it as that. Sometimes an indirect approach to selling an adult product, that really doesn't fit in on this board, is the best one. It's still an add to sell something.... 8) 8) 8)

You are, of course, correct that I didn't have to click on it.... However, if we all adopted your approach, this BB would be buried in SPAM from Viagra, porn, real estate and every other internet scheme in the world. If an add is related to fly fishing, I have no objection....

I thought the post was interesting. I was aprehensive when i saw the source but after reading it, it didnt bother me really. It would have been entirely more apropriate if it had been posted by one of our members...rather than someone who just signed up to post such a thing. I think if this type of thing started popping up regularly, we'd have a problem to deal with.

Darian, my impression from Carl's post is that since you are neither an owner or moderator on this board, you should have no say in what gets posted around here.

I've thought long and hard about this idea myself, ever since that incident in the trout section. I've decided to never again offer any thoughts on what is appropriate on this board, as it just seems to cause resentment of the "who the h@## are you?" variety.

As a driver who delivers this stuff, I'd like to point out one more use. It works just fine as a non freezing windshield washer fluid. Although if you're not in the business and don't have access to it for free, it would be a little pricey. Oh, here's another one, if you happen to break a bottle of liquor that really stinks, like cheap tequila, you can break a bottle of vodka right on the spill and kill the smell. Not that I break bottles. :D

This one really threw me
Fill a sixteen-ounce trigger-spray bottle and spray bees or wasps to kill them.

I would think if you did this, they'd just invite all their friends over....and play loud music :D

Hah! You can tell when the weather really goes sour by the subjects on this board. Fishing tales and reports drop off and now a long thread on the actual and mythical uses of Vodka. I'll have to check but to see if it's true or not but I believe it can be used to make a Bloody Mary. :D . How many used are there for a 12 yr old single malt Highland Scotch? I can only think of one. Cheers.
