 There are so many great fisherpeople on this site that love to take pictures. I would love to see your all time favorite flyfishing picture. Not one you pirated from the internet or something like that, but one either you took yourself, or one someone else took while you were present and experiencing the photo. I'll have to do some digging to find mine.

Hey Jay,
Here's mine. Its an oldie but a good one.
Have some great black and whites from the backcountry I'm staring at right now on the wall, but this one just came out great.
So many pictures to choose from but this one always brings a smile to my eyes as my wife would say.

Hey Jay,
You actually got me to fire up the scanner. Here's one of the black n whites I dredged up from the box of negatives.
11k ft elevation and volcano goldens are all that are in there.
The glassy skin on the lake was what took the cake.
Bill- You're totally right. I've had some good laughs looking through some of these filed away photos tonight.
Definitely a reminder of why I got into this sport in the first place.

I can't narrow it down to a single favorite because so many are my favorite for one reason or another, but I will say that fishing for me is about the journey, not the destination. Many of my favorite fishing photos don't even have a fish in them!
Thanks for starting the thread, jbird! Nice idea.

Well said Ron. I have a few other most-favorite photos and none of them feature a particularly large fish. However, they all represent favorite memories in one way or another. Uh, errr, ok, maybe just one:

This one has always been one of my all-time favorites, because it was taken on a great day on my favorite water out of my very 1st inflatable kayak. This fish wasn't particularly big at just over 15" but I remember he went absolutely berserk and fought very well against my 5 wt. rod: 8)

bp, nice photo's with your son.
Loren, Yeah, I had a lot of fun on Yellow Creek, I caught one about 12" which was huge compared to the 5-6" little guys. I enjoyed the small dry fly fishing on that slow water, it took more skill than required on a freestone stream. I had a fun trip, that meadow is beautiful.

Hey bp,
Terrific shots of you with your son! Fishing pictures with your kids are my absolute favorite. It doesn't get any better than sharing a day of good fishing with your son or daughter and watching them have a great time!
All these photos are just awesome!
Bill
Hi Folks,
This is a slight variation on Jay’s great thread on favorite fishing pictures and is focused on favorite fishing pictures with your kids. There have already been several great father/son pictures posted. My fishing pictures of me with my children are probably my most cherished group of fishing pictures :) . I started em all young with each of them on my back when they were about 1 to 2 years old. They all had a ball and do love to fish when they do have the time. I couldn’t find all the pictures I wanted to share but here are just a few pictures primarily of my oldest son Jimmy that I enjoyed digging up to share with you all. These go back 25 years!
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/1%20Bill%20and%20Jimmy%201981.jpg
Here is Jimmy observing how it is done at the age of about 9 months. He’s not to impressed with the size of this guy is he  ? July, 1981.
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/3%20Dana%20and%20Jimmy%201981.jpg
Here he is getting a feel for the water (definitely a little cold  !) with Mom on the same trip, July 1981.
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/Bill%20and%20Kids.jpg
This is about 1985, this time I have my daughter Jennifer on my back with Jimmy tromping right up the stream with me at the age of 5!
Man he had a ball! It doesn't get much better than this :D !
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/Jimmy%20Fishing%20Again.jpg
Here is Jimmy (1990) at the age of 9, able to fish pretty well on the small trout streams in the Sierras. He had actually caught his first fish on a fly at the age of 7 :) !
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/Jimmy%20Fishing.jpg
On the same trip, Proudly showing off his catch, a little golden trout from the High Sierras :D !
http://ww1.pureupload.com/stfiles//1373/kids%20with%20Dad%20fishing/Jim%20Becca%201.jpg
Here he is this last year, all grown up, with his beautiful bride on his wedding day :D . Wow, how time flies.
Notice he got married next to a river :D !
During those years the kids grew up we had a ball on camping trips with the family, going on canoe trips and many other things. He still loves to fly fish when he can. Besides teaching him to fly fish I was blessed he took to music like I did too. He is a much better musician than me with his own band and a CD as well. I think I can still out do him fly fishing though :D ! I guess you might be able to tell I'm a proud Poppa from this post :D !
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all :D !

2 . I Wish I would have fish more with my dad !!!!
3 . Dang I have 4 grand kids already !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Rob,
Awesome pictures of you with your sons, grandsons and Dad :) ! Thanks for sharing. I loved fishing with my Dad as well though he was not much of a fly fisherman. He passed away way to early at the age of 63. Goes to show you we never know how much time we have and need to make the best use of it.
The kids do grow up so fast don't they. Looks like you are making the most of it with your kids and grandkids. No grandkids for me yet but I plan to make the most of my time with them when they come.
Best Wishes!
Bill
