Out wade fishing early in 34 degree foggy weather. No steelhead to hand but did catch & release this 15" sea run cuthroat. Always a thrill to see of of these. My first of the season. Typically will catch 1-3 per season. Rogue flow at 1,890 cfs and 41 degrees. Gold Ray steelhead count as of 15 Nov is 11,144.

Gordon
Nice fishy!! :D
You should try snapping a photo with the flash and one without. I've been doing that lately with great results. Sometimes the reflective quality of the fish acts like a mirror and the subject gets overexposed a little. The flash usually forces a faster shutter speed giving you a sharper picture, but if the conditions are right a no flash can be just as sharp with much richer color.
If its too dark out and the no flash turns out bad, youll still have the flash photo.
Here is an example of a recent fish, first with the flash, then without.
