I hit the Yuba today above the bridge for the first time in a long time and i was happy to see some mayflies hatching.
There was a mix of blue winged-olives, pmd's, and ped's(i think). This is the only one that would cooperate.

Oh and by the way, i caught some nice fish on dries.

Wait a second!! You caught fish but you post pictures of bugs!!??? You aint one of them flyfishers are ya?? :lol: :D

I was enjoying the bug pictures so much, I didn't even notice the absence of fish pictures. :lol: Love the color of that wing in the first photo -- the very definition of blue dun. 8)

the fish were only 14-16 inches, so there were no pics of fish. In the past the yuba has always given me
a lot of 18+ inch fish, so i am a little spoiled with the size. Hopefully a year without really high water will
let those fish grow nice and big again.
