Middle Rogue Steelhead - Monday late afternoon

Went wade fishing late this afternoon and caught & released this 25" thick wild steelhead on my trusty bead head nymph. This fish looks more like a winter steelhead than a summer/fall fish.

He could put on Steelhead seminars and serve hot dogs too.

When Gordon retired he had bought this lot right on the Rogue River. I thought it was a great idea, but now we know it was pure genius.
