I was looking at booking a guide on the Klamath in the next few weeks. I was looking at doing the Iron Gate Stretch but would do the Happy Camp Section. Anyone have any recommendations? I've been out with Chuck from Jack Trout and was pretty impressed. Just wondering if anyone had gone out with an amazing guide on that river.
Thanks,
Chris

Dang, you're awful rich for a "poor" college kid to be booking guides! Oh wait, that's right, I'm paying the bills!

This could get interesting...
May wipe out that "extra" room and board $$.
Make sure you always take the $$ man fishing with you! :D

Hey Chris
Though I haven't used him myself, I've heard great things from numerous people about Wally Johnson for a fly fishing guide on the Klamath. He lives in Siaed Valley (sp?) and if and when I get a guide to learn that part of the river, he would be my choice. Take a look at www.steelheadguides.com
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
slim
p.s.-take the old man with you and make him pay for it!

Take the old man and let him pay!!!

Craig Nielsen...
Nobody fly fishes that stretch of the Klamath more this time of year. You will not be disapointed...

Albert Kutzkey is a 3rd generation guide on the Klamath, he'll fly fish for steelhead on the Klamath for another month befre heading to the Smith. He is excellent.
