well, unfortunately had some fishing plans for this weekend not work out. Where should we go? looking for anything in california, oregon, or washington (we're in the bay area so cali would be most convenient) steelies in norcal or orgeon? delta stripers? (fished there last sunday with KD, had a great time getting introduced to the delta but with the nasty weather the fish were pretty hesitant to grab), socal? rockfish in neah bay, WA? any input/advice would be greatly appreciated in helping us (3-4 guys) try and get this last minute weekend together. thanks in advance -Loren

Loren, the weather is on the upturn in the delta and this coming weekend should be much better than the last, both for weather and for grabs. Yes, last Sunday was just plain cruel!

Maybe the Trinity River?

The way the weather is going it could be pretty tough this weekend. Southern Oregon isn't much of an option unless it stops raining right away. The Upper Trinity is an option but the drive could be rough if the weather keeps up the way it has been going so far this week. Perhaps an option would be the Yuba or the Feather. Not so far to go and the fishing could be decent. I don't have any updated information on either but at least you don't have to worry about driving too far in snow.

Good luck.

thanks for the help guys, it is greatly appreciated, you are right Jerry, any day of fishing is a good day, especially with a guide like KD, but mothernature really gave us a but-kickin'.
