Feather river info

Going to the Feather tomorrow. Has anyone been up that way this week? Any Steelies caught?

The fish are there Sacreno. Not a lot but there are some big steelies this year. My guide (Toby Uppinghouse sent me a picture from last week of an amazing male around 10-11#) said you have to get and egg-caddis rig right in front of them and they will take it. There is just so much food for them right now with all the salmon eggs around that the fish won't move too far to take a bite. Pick your spots well. See my Feather toad thread a couple of weeks ago. I wish I could make it back up there tomorrow too!!
