Hit the Port around noon , called it at 3:30 . Fair breeze S/SW about 12 MPH , water's still reasonably warm .

Got blanked . Again .

Fewer boats out , maybe 4 ?? One large fish blew-up behing the tube 100 feet away(right after I worked that exact same spot ...... bastard !!!!) . No hits .

That's it .

I know it's dark at 6:00 or 6:30am but that's the time you've got to get out there!

I figure it's cold , and the day was overcast - why not noon ??

Besides .... I'm not too keen on mucking around in the mud out there while it's dark . I have enough trouble getting into the tube out there while the sun's out .

The Port seems like one of those places that you KNOW has good fish in it but you'll be damned if you can catch any of 'em. I am looking forward to the day you crack that nut, David, as I know you surely will.
