late trip report

Took a trip last week in search of some steelies. Spent two days on the Feather, two days on the Rogue, and three days on the Trinity. Feather was a bit slow, with only one adult landed in two days. Rogue was hit and miss. First day hooked up with WillJ and went for a ride in Sculpin's boat. Marc put us on some great water, and eventually the fish turned on. Thanks for a great day, Marc, and thanks for the hospitality, Will. The Trinity was pretty good, if you were fishing where the fish were. There were definately some people up there, but it wasn't too bad if you were willing to get up early and do some hiking. All in all, a great trip. Can't wait to do it again. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking. :D

Great pics. Shows perfectly how you can take a picture with the fish in the water, it's so much better for them if you are going to release them.

That's a great steelhead for the feather. I just love the way those fish look, they are so muscular. Glad you had such a great trip.

What a trip! You took some very nice pictures.

Both the Rogue and Trinity can look incredible in their fall colors, unfortunately I can't really say that about the Feather.....not so picturesque, although those Feather fish are FOOTBALLS! lots of body height. There have been quite a few nice steelies caught there so far this season.
