Thanks for that. I can count on one hand how many times people have actually thanked me for serving. A lot of people had it a lot worse than me, but my 4 years in the Air Force, 67 to 71, with a little trip to Vietnam, changed my life in many ways. Support our troops, bring them home NOW!
Tight lines!

I'm sorry that your not thanked on a Daily basis !!!
My father served in the navy, Army and air force so those in the military have Always been and Always will be my hero's. Our local high school every school day before veterans day has a special program put on by the students for all the local vets. :D Most of the students come in Sunday dress to show respect for the vets. I saw some of it on the local news and it had me in tears . Another cool thing is 90 % of the homes here in Hyde Park had Flags in the Yard yesterday . :D It is so awesome to see young me and women So willing to risk there lives for our country and those in other countries. I know a few young men in Sacr. and Utah that are in Iraq and glad to be there to help the good Iraqi people. People do not go into the military because they are stupid but because they care !! Thank god for them.

AGAIN THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE !!!!!

My heroes wear Camo and they are NOT hunting !!

Hi Rob, I just wanted to get back to you and thank you for your thank you. But, like I said, I had it pretty good. I was an aircraft electrician, so my job was fixing airplanes. I got drafted in the Army but I took the Air Force test and I did well in electronics and with a good amount of luck, I did an end around a two year waiting list. Phew! From Guam I got sent to Vietnam for about a week and I got shot at a few times and I saw some truly horrific stuff. The stuff that makes you a life long pacifist! So, again, thanks for taking the time to post your kind words, I do appreciate it.
Those pics you posted are really cool. You live in a beautiful spot. That dog is a real handsome pup too.

Hi Rob

Our son-in-law Brian (USAF), our daughter Debbie and our three grandkids have moved from east central Florida to Colorado Springs, CO.

It looks pretty nice there in the photos they have sent.

We are excited to go visit them in the near future too.

We all miss you and the boys (in person) here in Sacto.
