Drove by the Forebay yesterday afternoon on my way to Monterey. Had to attend my mother-in-laws 80th birthday. The water was dead calm, no one on the water and fly rods in the back just sitting there. But on my way home this morning, I did stop and fish.

A slight breeze 5mph - perfect. There were fish eating, nothing busting on top. Most fish were caught around 12' to 16' in depth. That must be the thermal cline area. The biggest might of been 6lbs. Not real big but something pulling on the other end of the rod. I only saw two other people fishing as I was leaving. Heading back there in the morning, instead of going to the striperfest. Closer for me and I'm able to use my pram.

Oh yeah, the flies I donated to the striperfest raffle came back as "undeliverable" address. I guess I mixed up the numbers in the address to Fish First. Oh well, there should be enough great prizes for all those in attendence to win.

Good luck on the Delta and Bill - think 20lbs
