I am absolutely hypnotized by water. Water of all kinds. Rivers, Oceans, Lakes, Rain...etc. I can just stare at it for embarrassing lengths of time. I think a photographer could make a living focussing his/her career on water alone. It is so beautiful and comes in so many forms and colors and moods.
This is one of my favorite pictures of water that I took a few years ago of my son jumping in a pool in mexico. The camera froze the water so perfectly and picked up the colors very well.

Heres another neat one from a resort pool in Maui a couple years ago. This one, I set the camera on the handrail of a bridge and set the shutter for 15 seconds.

I need to spend more time looking for photo opportunities. sometimes taking a picture of something somewhat average, like a boy jumping into a pool, can turn into a work of art.
