Those sound like a bargain.

Winston 8' #4 glass would be a great small stream rod.

How does that Fisher glass rod look? I fished one for years, it is indeed an excellent salmon rod. Mine had a really sweet action to it, until one day, in a state of temporary insanity, I tried to land a smallish salmon like a trout. You know, pulling the fish toward your hand while using the other hand to move the rod back behind you. Fishy took one flip when he was almost at my fingertips and SNAP went the rod. (I believe MikeN knows that sound.) To the guy holding the rod it's the loudest sound in the world. Still, that has to be a better death for a fly rod than getting slammed in a car door or getting left on top of your vehicle when you drive off.
