Jeff Putnam told me that this new DVD, 'Spey Fishing Steelhead' by John Hazel is one of the best DVDs he has seen of actual fly fishing techniques.

It would be good for single handed anglers to watch as well.

This is the video that every angler who fishes for steelhead should watch. This is instructional video teaches real steelhead tactics. John Hazel does a great job in delivering basic and intermediate techinques for swinging to steelhead. He uses a spey rod, however, this is not limited to spey fishing but rather traditional (true) steelheading methods with any length of rod. John has been guiding the Deschutes for over 20 years with both single and double handed rods and really understands them silver bows that like to visit the ocean. Get this dvd... and fish for the grab! jp
