Jeff Putnam told me that this new DVD, 'Spey Fishing Steelhead' by John Hazel is one of the best DVDs he has seen of actual fly fishing techniques.

It would be good for single handed anglers to watch as well.

This dvd explains swinging for steelhead very well. John use a spey rod during the dvd and talks about flies, fly lines, reading water, presentations and steelhead behavior. I have watched it several times and recommend in to all of my students that fish steelhead with a single or double hand rod. Two spey rods up! jp
