Fishing is getting better and better in the intermountain region due to falling water temperatures.

The Pit River is benefiting most from this phenomenon, with steady nymph fishing throughout the day and good dry fly fishing in the evenings.

Fall River continues to fish very well, with clients landing many large fish on dries, nymphs, and streamers. Dry fly activity in September includes PMDs, baetis, mahogany duns, and callibaetis.
