This is a great place to go in July, August and September when the weather is hot down here in the Valley. It is only 3 hours drive from Sacramento, east of Stockton, CA.
Our old friend Charlie Fullerton, who was director of the CA DF&G some years back, just had a great pack trip here last week.
They can do any kind of trip you want.
They can just taking you and your gear in and drop you off for a few days and then coming back for you.
They can do a deluxe trip with horses to ride daily after you get back in the high country, food with a cook and wrangler to help you plus tents and sleeping bags too.
