It is still pretty nice at 5:00am here in the Valley.
Locally it is dangerous out there from noon till 6"00pm.
If you get out early you can have some hours of comfortable fishing.
The evening bite is later from 7:00pm till dark.
I am sure fish are feeding mid-day but it is not much fun for the anglers.
Locally we have Stripers all summer in the Lower American River.
Bass feed all summer in ponds, lakes, the Delta and reservoirs.
There are a few Shad around upriver.
Trout are eating small hoppers on the Lower Yuba River.
Trout are feeding now in the cold water of Putah Creek and Lake Solano.
