Aloha, I was lucky enough to be invited to spend a week on the Vineyard with the TFO staff. I was the guest of TFO East coast rep, Jake Jakespeare. We were joined by TFO head honcho Jim Schulin, and TFO owner Rick Pope.

We spent a week chasing blues and stripers both off and on-shore.

It was good fun testing out new equipment and searching the shores for active fish. Here is a small striper I got on a Rainy's sand eel.

The island is very beautiful and I had a great time talking story with these fish fanatics.

It really is a beautiful place, I hope you all get the chance to fish there some day. It is cool to visit other islands, and the fishing can be great. Jake was a great host. Thanks guys for the good time, Mems.

So cool. My wife and I bicycled NC's outer banks but we didn't take our flyrods. I kicked myself the whole week. I could just imagine dragging a big striper or blue through the surf.

So many places to fish, so little time.
