20/20 rule, does it count?

Caught a 21 inch steelhead on a size 20 trico, does it count? Seems unfair since the fish lived its life in the ocean getting fattened up

I don't really get it...count toward what? And I'm assuming that by saying the fish "lived" its life, you killed it. Hopefully not...

Hi Gregg! I'm pretty sure Steve's referring to whether catching a 21" steelhead on a size 20 trico satisfies the 20/20, which is a goal many people set of catching a fish 20" or better on a size 20 fly.
