Floated the Yuba on Friday. I was rowing and had 2 good anglers in the boat. We had a couiple of decent fish on but the only thing landed were two 8" and a couple of huge suckers (by the way alot of fun ).

Water looked great. According to the internet the flows were around mid 4k's, temp 52. Clarity was really good. I saw no presence of bug life. No hatches and nothing under rocks, my friend said he found a couple of cased caddis under some rocks.

Banks seemed very steep in most cases so wading was tough. It looks like we lost a few islands. If you put in above the bridge the first bend is a little tricky ( pretty big standing waves and the cushion against the bank). Sycamore is unrecognizable from the river. I think it will be along time before anyone will be taking out there. They claim repairs are comming but they need permission from DFG and maybe others. The gun club is awsome very easy take out.

Any day on the river is a great day ! Not many fish, but a good time with good friends.
