Just thought I'd keep you guys drooling and show you another first striper on a fly. This was taken by Denny Griffin yesterday along with several others and a nice shad to boot ALL on the same fly.

After hearing about this my boss asks if WE can go today. Sure Bob, so off we go again this morning. The water in the Feather keeps dropping and the temperature keeps rising up to 67 degrees.
We move over to the Yuba and find a cooler (52degree)greener river. After just a couple of casts I hook up a good one at 10lbs, then another, then another. Geez, three nice fish and it's not even 7:00am. Bob keeps flaying away to no avail for another hour and we quit around 8:00am.

Denny, same spot as yesterday :P

Get out there guys and either go early or stay late. They're right on top.

TONY

Thanks for the report Tony. What type of boats are people running out there for stripers? Is it strictly drift boats and jets? Thanks, Greg
