Drifted Rossmoor to Watt today. Did pretty poor, only a few shad to the boat, all caught in the slower stuff, no stripers to the boat (did see one about 25 lbs, ignored us). Met and watched Chemdoc and Andan (fine, fine fisherman) apply the smackdown on multiple fish. Fished Goodrich Creek up near Almanor this weekend, they took mahogany emergers, even though the outside air temps were around 40 to 45 degrees, saw a Hex (one all weekend) emerge, struggle, and start to twitch and get swallowed like a largemouth blasting a popper. Got snowed on up there - pretty crazy.
