I bet that 80% of the trout streams are not in shape yet, still being high and cold.
Bass and panfish reservoir, lakes and ponds have been unreal the past month.
All the Valley rivers are down now for the big holiday weekend probably to reduce drownings. There are Shad, Stripers and Halfpounders and some resident trout in most of our local rivers now.
Many mid-elevation lakes are turning on for trout now.
