There're some clearwater sloughs in the Mississippi/New Orleans Delta area that have Alligator gar in them. I used to see them stacked in the bottoms like cord wood.... Never had the urge to swim in those sloughs... :shock: :shock:

I saw a show once where they were fishing for 'em in the Rio Grande and using plastic milk jugs as bobbers. :shock: Beasts.
