Yesterday the Lower Sac could only be decribed as "On Fire". I fished with a regular client of my for just four or five hours, we probally landed at least 25 fish with hit's on every drift. About 50% of this were half pounders. All were fighting fit and very agressive.
Sorry if I caused any offence with my last email with the subject of "Amber Alert on the Lower Sac", this was of course just related to fishing and not to any missing persons.
With the large changes in flows of the last few days, it's scheduled to be down to 6,000cfs today, many will tell you that will kill the fishing. Just as well that the trout don't know that. Moral of the story is don't believe all that other sources might tell you. I am of course refering to other guides.
