Going out after work now.

We have daylight saving time in our favor now so we can go out after work all summer.

If you keep you fishing gear in the trunk you can sneak out and explore some of these small ponds in the evening as the sun gets off the water.

Soon we will have the Shad run in the American River and this is really fun for us here in Sacramento.

Weeknight evenings are the best..........

I did this last night.


Got the 7 weight out and flung some poppers on a local pond. Caught a couple of nice fish and lost a couple more.


They were all over the top water popper fished right in the weeds and grasses next to shore.
