For those of you out there that have access to Coffee Cup Lake, now is the time to fish it. I spent Thrusday evening and all day Friday up there and it was about as hot a fishing experience I have ever had. I left because I felt I had pestered them enough and it was time to leave them a lone for awhile. :D Poppers in the evening and early morning, buggers and minnow patterns the rest of the day fishing the shallows. Mostly LM Bass (2-3 lbs each with a few up to 5lbs) w/blue gills hitting the smaller woolly buggers. They all took the fly deep in the mouth so they are hungry. ....Anne

FishyMe...This year, because the lake was still relatively weed free, I used my Sage VPS 3 wt. Last year --picture below--I used a 5wt to haul the big ones out of the Lilly Pads. By-the-way... I had the entire 50 acre lake to myself for the entire day and a half I was there. Sweet and mellow.
