Any suggestions for this weekend?

I've got a kitchen pass and an old friend is in town - can anyone suggest ANYWHERE we might wet a line? I'm in Sac and he'll be in Jackson. I'm fresh out of ideas. :?:

Hey John,.... Rain showers are predicted for Saturday.... If you aren't discouraged by it, there're several good lakes in the proximity of Jackson. Amador Lake and Rancho Seco, Pardee, Camanche Reservoirs to name some of the larger places to fish. There're many smaller ponds along Hwy 49, too. I wouldn't bother with the rivers in that area. Too high.

I would suggest going to the Kiene's Expo on Saturday!
Lots of good stuff going on.
