Just went and purchased my annual State Parks pass. Once again the price has gone up (what else is new).
Now they have three price ranges:
The Poppy Annual Pass:
This is limited to most parks and recreation area's but doesn't include the high attendance parks. Most parks are in the southern cal area. Most Santa Cruz beaches area on the Poppy list.
Doesn't not include boat launching
$90.00
The Annual Pass, includes every state beach and park in the state
Doesn't include boat launching
$125.00
The full plate, includes launching $200. +
