Greetings from the Lonestar state of Texas. Texas is definitly BIG. Texas has steak houses on every block like Sacramento has Chinese restaurants.
Well anyway, the first Fly Fishing show in Texas starts today. A few of the same exhibitors but alot of new faces. They have a big pond outside, just like San Rafael. It's right across the street from the Texas Ranger stadium and also across the street is Six Flags.. I hope Texas works out for the show.
It's the last show of the season for me - finally. I'm have elbow surgery in a week, a few flies to tie (Bill, I have your flies in my bag) a couple of club presentations, one fly fishing fair to do in Sacramento and then off to Baja. I think this is called retirement, but I love doing it
