Waded above the bridge on Saturday. Fishing was ok, the water looks unbelievable - greenish "runoff" tint, clarity is at least 2 feet or better. The fish were taking small mayflies, didn't see a single fish come up top, didn't see any bugs coming off. Saw couple of good guys, Ron Hayashi and George Doikas (spelling?), they were able to get into the fish too.
Drifted the next day, and just got blown off the water. A little rain doesn't hurt, but when it starts coming at you sideways with some howling wind, you just have to buck up and row home. Had my tail handed to me that day, the fish apparently just moved to the side and let my bugs go by, pointed at me and had a good laugh. Spoke to a buddy that said he saw fish working the surface on Sunday ........
