Well hey ya old canopy lovin' chipmunk!!! Might cold in the north woods; the east wind is blowing and that is one bone abusing cold. Was thinking of splitting some firewood but the wood stove sounds like a much better destination. 'She's a hoary wind laddy!!!!
Last evening I was a bit bummed out since the elk had usurped my horseshoe pit. Darn critters...crap on the lawn, trespass, eat the grass...they just think they own the place. What next? They gonna hit me up for some money??? No wonder we tie flies out of em'.
Life is good but darned cold. Going to float the Nehalem with Zig next Thursday and put a bit of whoop ass on some natives. Conditions are perfect for fly fishing right now except for the hypothermia prob. Ah geez. Looking out the window there is an elk frozen to the barn. I gotta go warm the fella up.
