what is up with the flows and when will they be dwon for steelhead also is it worth while to travel to the american to fish it nick.

The flows in the American are supposed to drop to 8,000 cfs. today and 5,000cfs tomorrow.

The newspaper this morning listed the flow at 15,000 cfs. Like Terry said they might lower it if planned, but I don't think it is worth a trip this weekend. I had to drive over the American at I-5 this week which is unusual for me, but it looks like Discovery Park is still flooded.

thanks for the input as i have a 6 hour drive to get to the american to fish. guess i will wait and see if and when the flows are reduced to good levels. nick.
