Anyone have a putah report?

Was planning to fish putah tomorrow (friday) from noon on. anyone know what's going on over there? I see the flows have been dropping.

I didn't fish it but it was very green in color the day before yesterday. The water is still high but definitely clear enough to cast a fly if you don't get washed away.

...latest reports have Putah still running above 1,000 CFS, with murky water, but clearing up slowly. Most fish seem to be caught in the bridge area. Bring a wading stick! SullyTM

flows down to 900 +\- should be below 875 tomorrow, given current trend. will post report.

I fished putah last weekend. I didn't get anything but my buddy caught three. Try to fish from the bridge up and fish the edges. All spots below the bridge the water is still way too fast. It should be wadeable when the flows get below 8000 cfs. Should be down to about the high 700's this weekend. Hope so because I'm planning to go up there this weekend.

Fished for a couple of hours from Cold Creek down to the Bridge. One possible grab. 2 buddies = nada. lost lotsa flies keeping them down on the bottom. Really nice day to be out on the creek. New LLBean waders work great....dry feet, what a concept.
