We have fished with Timmy McCarthy for about 20 years now in New Zealand.

I think the book might be about the famous fly in river on the North Island, the Rangitikei.

We first learned of this river from the late Erny Schwiebert who put on a wonderful slide show about the river about 20 years ago. He had fished it for many years.

Schwiebert largest fish was a 16# resident Rainbow.
