Nice looking bug!

Maybe add a little more deer hair. Or a tuft of white calf tail or fluorescent yarn as an indicator to better see the fly at a distance.

Or maybe change the color pattern of the foam: black on top to make the fly more natural colored and the orange on top to act as an indicator.

Once again nice lookin bug, I'm gonna have to tie up a couple for myself.

What's wrong with that fly :?: :?: You don't say what you were trying to accomplish but're obviously unsatisfied with the result of your efforts. :? The best advice I can provide would be to cast/fish it, first; then make a judgement about what to change (if anything).... 8)

Casting the pattern will provide some idea of whether it will be comfortable to use or not. 8) If the fish reject it; well, sometimes that happens no matter how good a particluar fly looks.... Don't give up on it easily. 8) 8)
