When will these flows subside :?: I just noticed an emergance of PMD's on my tying bench that are looking for some trouble  Anyone have any idea when the Yuba flows might subside :?: I'm starting to get a little stircrazy. I was actually thinking about getting a real job ](*,) WHAT! It's OK, I'm better now. Had to go to Bill's shop this morning just to get by for a little longer. At least the NASCAR season is starting up this weekend, that should help some. Man cannot live by tying alone!

One thing I have noticed is that you really start accumulating flies when you're not out losing them. Go figure  Hope to start losing a few soon [-o<

I need to use these things before they take off with my cork

Hey Mike,..... I feel your pain. :( Aside from the swaps, I'm lucky enough to have a mission, tho. I'm tying saltwater flies and getting equipment read for BAJA....!!!!! Can't wait. :D :D

Have you considered the low flow section of the Feather for a fix :?: :?: I know its not the Yuba but..... :? :?

The flies look great. 8) 8) 8)

Thanks Darian, I have considered the Feather but haven't done much the few times I've gone. A couple of Feather river Browns and a few smolts and that's about it. Actually I haven't seen a Steelhead caught by anyone the times I've been there. BUT ( You don't know if you don't go, right) When are you heading to Baja? I'm not getting back down there til the end of May. That seems like a long ways off right now. :-({|= Oh well I guess I will get through these high water blues somehow. #-o

Thom, I don't think I need any more flies right now. I can't get the ones I have in my box. I will send you a few of the patterns I use on the Yuba, in case the water drops and you can make it up there with me. I mostly use dries on the Yuba when I go, it's great dry fly water usually! PM me your address and I'll get those flies to you soon.

I was up there yesterday and the water is still running high and fast. Looks to be clearling slightly but will still be a while till it's green.

Hey Guys,.... I'm heading down on June 2nd on one of Jay Murakoshi's trips to Punta Arena de la Ventana 8) (....betcha didn't think I could recall all of that didja   ) Anyway, all of those pictures from his trips last year, especially the big Rooster  , put the "hook" in me.....

Chihuahua!!!! I'm boning up on my Spanish while playing with things like Bimini's ](*,) and Allbright's, etc. Fortunately, I won't have to tie too many flies as I still have a bunch from my last trip to East Cape....

Es muy bueno.... :D :D :D

Mike, Your PMD's look mighty fine to me. Could you post or send me a recipe, or point to to it? I'd be obliged. Harley bjhc@sysmatrix.net

Hey Dave, could you give them a call and ask them to keep going till they get around 2,000? At least it's starting in the right direction again. Thanks for the info Dave.
