Hit the A this morning with a good friend up by the Hatchery. Not very many fisherman for a Saturday. There were no fish hooked other than the 3 by us. My buddy lost on that was a good 8+lbs and bright.

The fish below took a Circus Cadis behind a Fox Fertilizer. The smallest of the ones we hooked. Wild fish and jumped at least 6 times and constantly changing directions on a dime.

Katz,
Nice fish! What size circus caddis was that?

#8 Circus Caddis. I am starting to think that the bigger and brighter the fly (with red/orange/pink) the better. I have had more fish take on the fertilizer, but I think that anything bright, red, and good sized that passes infront of their face is what it takes.

We just found a good drift and kept working the water until the fish came along.
