Anglers coming into the shop have reported having some success on the upper American River. The river has dropped and the visibility is getting better. We will have to see what tomorrow's rain does to the river.

Terry and others,

The low flow section of the Feather river is flow is at 600cfs right now. The water clarity is still poor but at least the flow is back to normal.

Adam,
Do you have an on line source for the low flow section? I contacted the CA DWA this week and they directed me to the Feds. I received a reply from them and they said, "sorry to inform you, however, it IS the CA DWR that has the info." Actually, I believe that there is a little gnome that lives at the bottom of the dam and when the earth shakes too much he just opens the gates a little more.

Teryy and everyone else,

This is a telephone number to access a pre-recorder message, which changes day-today, for Lake Oroville and the flows of the Feather River below the dam - 530/534-2307. This number tells you the cfs flow of both the high and low flow sections of the Feather.

It is a very helpful piece of information.

Good luck out there.
