Well I have no pics to show because I didn't get any fish to had, but.....
Fished the hatchery from 7:30 -10:00 this AM. Hooked three large winter run fish. Two the were bright and jumped several times and did a little tail walking before they schooled me, one broke off the other came unbuttoned. Both on for about 5 minutes. These fish were both a good 8 lbs. The third was a buck with a lot more color. Was only on for a few seconds but got a good look at him (so did some hecklers on the top of the leve who were quick to point out why I lost him). That one was easily 10-12 lbs.
All fish were within 10 feet of the bank. All fish took a fox fertilizer. I think anything red or pink running past thier face would have worked though.
The previous reports are correct about picking your spot and waiting them out.
Saw three other fish hooked on bait while I was there.
I love it when the fly fishing outfishes the bait
Best of luck out there.
