We have our new casting analyzer up and running. We are still in the learning curve on it but we have the basics down.
We will be taking a special seminar at the San Rafael Show on February 17, Friday that is only for dealers who purchased the analyzer.
After that we will be in even better shape to have you come in and have your fly casting analyzed.
This is a very powerful, expensive tool that really works. It is an Apple computer with special software developed by Sage and 3M/Scientific Angler with a palm pilot attached to a fly rod, reel and line with a gyro to measure the movements.
We will be charging $20 to have your cast analyzed with a two page print out that will compare your casting to a Sage pro.
The money you spend on being analyzed can be used toward the purchase of a fly rod in the future.
Jeff Putnam will be using our analyzer in conjunction with his fly casting schools as a tool to help his students understand what they are doing.
