I am also curious about two holes on the feather, the side of the river opposite the gazebo (in the low flow) had a log sticking out of the water, is it still there, or (hopefully) the high flows cleared it. Also, at palm ave riffle/ salmon hole there is a log submerged in the middle of the river plus a couple of toppled trees on the matthews concrete side of the river, is that still there, or has it (hopefully) been flushed down river?

I'm not sure about the exact holes you were mentioning, but I would guess there has been noticable changes to the river. One change that I do know of is that the Robinson pond blew out through the west/south levee. The river erroded enough of the gravel-mining road that the gravel trucks can't use it anymore... Sounds like it was a good change for the river. We needed a little reorganization.

Steve,
I fish small rivers and look for those fallen trees to make it a successful day. Don't they harbor fins from the sun, winged predators, strong flows, and anglers. Is there a reason you are hoping they are displaced?

My father-in-law said that he went to fish the gazebo and there isn't even a good riffle there anymore???
He did fish bedrock and get a nice wild 20" steelie.
