We have them in stock now and they are the latest thing for fishing larger streams and rivers for trout and Steelhead.

From the Rio web site:

"Anadromous Advantage™ Fly Line

Superb all around line for the anadromous fly fisher. Whether you are fly fishing for Steelhead in the US or Canada, salmon in Alaska, or searun browns in Europe and Argentina, you can expect changing water conditions that will affect your line choice. Set up one reel with this line and be ready to adapt to most fishing conditions––instead of purchasing four different reels and four different lines! Each line has a floating body with four different interchangeable 24 ft long tips, including a floating tip, a 7 ft fast sinking (with a 17 ft floating section), a 15 ft fast sinking (with a 9 ft floating section) and a 24 ft density compensated sink tip. Each line weight meets the AFTMA rating.

WF6 Tips - WF10 Tips

Length: 100 ft (30.5 m)

Color: Green Body / Yellow/Black Tips"

Bill...How would you compare this new line with say a Teen300? Here is why I ask.

Last summer while up in Alaska, our guide took us up a small creek in his jet boat to a hole where he knew silvers were. The problem with fishing the hole, which was only about 30 feet wide and God knows how deep, was that you could only wade in about 4 feet from the bank before we were waist deep. To make matters worse, the bank was covered by a dense growth of grass that must have been 10 ft high. It was our first day and all I had to fish with was a series of Rio and T-14 sink tips attached to amnesia. It became immediately apparent that with no back cast room my rig was not going to work. Fortunately the guide had an extra rig loaded with a Teeny300 line. I was able to roll cast the Teeny line quite easily and caugnt several fish out of the one hole.

I just signed up for a repeat trip and was going to buy a Teeny 300 line until I saw your post about this new Anadromous Advantage line. If this new line roll cast well, I might consider buying it instead to take advantage of all of its other abilities. Any thoughts? Anne

Hi Anne,

I have always recommended using what works - I have used the Teeny200 extensively, and it has always performed perfectly. The Teeny300 is a little heavy for me, but you've used it successfully, so I would recommend you stay with what works. You can always mess around with a new line which someone else has purchased, and decide if it's really better. Also, I've never, ever been crazy about interchangeable head lines. Hope this helps.

Bill

What will that line retail for?
