Hit the river this morning a for a few hours and things had slowed for me since Friday. Did get one fish around 15 pounds but the betteries in the camera were dead so no photos. I'll just have to keep this one for myself. Never thought about using the camera in my phone, what a DA! :? Anyway the water is dropping but the clarity will take a little time to come back I'm afraid. Saw a few other fish hooked by the bait guys but didn't see any come to hand. I did have one other fish on but didn't realize it till it was too late, what a DA :?
Until next time, good fishing everyone.

There were quite a few people out today but being a weekend that should be expected. Really not a problem though as the entire bank seems to fish about the same. Like I said in an earlier post, just find a spot, figure out where the snags are and wait for the fish to come to you.
PS. This was the largest Steelhead I've caught to date, but tomorrow is another day :D

Way to go on the big fish. Fished the el manto access from about 8-12. Several hits but nothing to hand. Only saw one other angler the whole day. River's on its way down so it should only get better from here.
Hey Aaron, were you fishing the banks or actually fishing a riffles and runs?

I was fishing the banks, the riffles and runs were flowing way to fast to effectively fish.

Yea same here, not the most fun I've ever had but it is something to do. Hopefully things will start changing for the better.
Thanks.
