This picture was taken about 3 PM this afternoon. The previous high in the last five years was 38,300 cfs so this is a FLOOD. At the right of the picture about 150 feet out is my boat dock.

Gee Gordon, very sad to see nothing but water where your lawn used to be. Have always enjoyed that pic of the sunlight streaming through the trees onto the grass. . . . Sure hope at some point you can get it back to that state. :(

Always enjoyed those pics of that great lawn... Hope that you can get it in shape again. Hell, maybe we can work a yard work & fishing program.

I'll come over, pitch a tent near by, work to help to get your lawn in shape, then you can show me some great fishing so I can post some of those beauties you always show off....

On a serious note.... Hope your home, valuables, and loved ones stay safe and blessed during Mama natures show of force. My prayer are with you.

Ray

Oregon Salmon: The Rogue will probably be back in shape in less than 10 days. The peak was at 11:30 PM last night at 78,200 cfs. This AM it is at 58,600 and now only about half my lawn is covered. Discovered my neighbor's wrought iron table and chairs in the middle of my lawn. Suffered no damage and the boat dock is still floating..

The crest is now near Agness where it is flowing at 159,000 cfs. Both the Illinois & the Applegate inflows contribute to that level of water.

Gordon,
Our family vacation was to Agness for half pounders. We stayed at Singing Springs Ranch and they had a high water mark of the '64 flood. I never could believe it....envisioning that much water filling the canyon. Amazing.
