Well, I never got it back. During the go-around with the insurance company I was able to put together enough makeshift gear to continue fishing and guiding...kinda makes ya wonder about all the "stuff" we carry around. The insurance company did OK, and I've been able to replace most everything. Still...I sure liked my old, comfortable vest, God rest its soul.
A special thanks to Bill Kiene for helping me in "restocking." Also, I'm grateful to Lincoln Gray of Sierra Stream & Mountain products (Tie-Fast, etc.) for generously sending me replacement tools. Fly anglers are great folks.
